- Support Services To Our Operations
Al-Hammam Company provides support services
to its projects through its corporate staff divisions. They are:
- Corporate Communications
- Corporate Equipment
- Corporate Financial Services
- Corporate Information Services
The support organization
is staffed with highly trained professionals with many years of
experience in both their fields of expertise and in the construction
industry. They provide shared services to operations and value-added
services directly to customers.
Corporate Communications
Corporate Communications serves to preserve
and increase Al-Hammam's competitive advantage by leading and
supporting communications, marketing, leadership development,
partnering and other programs both externally and internally.
Corporate Financial Services
Corporate Financial Services
provides a broad array of services. They include accounting and
financial reporting, employee payroll, internal audit, information
systems, insurance and bonding, loss control, risk management
and treasury and banking relations.
- Accounting and Financial Reporting: The Corporate
Controller’s Department provides accounting and financial
reporting services to Al-Hammam group. Financial reporting includes
extensive internal reporting and reporting to banks and other
stakeholders. In addition, the same group provides accounting
and financial reporting support for HMH Trading and Contracting
Co. and Al-Hammam Murray Telecom Company..
- Internal Audit: Internal Audit is responsible
for reviewing all aspects of our operations to assure policies
and procedures are adequate and our operations are in compliance
with those policies and procedures. In addition, Internal Audit
spends a significant portion of its time independently assessing
the status and outlook on selected construction projects.
- Insurance, Bonding and Risk Management: The
Risk Management Department focuses on managing risk, and where
appropriate, transferring risk by insurance. The focus is on
reviewing contracts for risks being assumed and determining
the best way to deal with those risks. It also manages our relationships
with our insurance companies
- Loss Control: Al-Hammam’s Loss Control
Department focuses on management of safety, health and environmental
issues to assure all Al-Hammam employees work in a safe work
environment.
Corporate
Information Services
Corporate Information Services has overall
responsibility for assuring Al-Hammam Group evaluates emerging
technologies and implements those technologies aligned with and
supportive of Al-Hammam’s strategic direction. Also, this
group manages Al-Hammam's technology assets, its data communications
network and enterprise applications. Data centers are maintained
in Rahima and Riyadh.
